Roslyn Anderson from WLBT-NBC 3 in Jackson covered the event in Jackson, MS at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.

The newscast on June 7, 2023 in Jackson, MS highlighted that Baptist Health Systems is introducing a new platform, Aidin, in July to five of its major hospitals. Anderson shares that “when patients leave Baptist Hospital for a rehab,  nursing home, or home healthcare, they will get that care sooner through a connectivity platform for acute care patients.”

Aidin helps electronically match patients with acute-care providers in the region, which previously was done manually – calling and faxing those facilities to inquire about availability for care.

Nurses and other post-acurte providers in Jackson shared that they’re excited to use Aidin to review information quickly and get patients admitted. This platform helps them make sure that they can meet patient needs medically and speed up the process to be able to open up the beds in the hospital and help transition patients back home.
